Our flagship product, Circle, provides high visibility, certainty, and prioritization in the workplace, enabling users to see their contacts' real-time status, location, and activity.
3. Account Registration
To use the Services, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use our Services.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Services for the following legitimate purposes:
Workplace collaboration and communication with your contacts.
Managing contacts and creating circles (groups) for team visibility.
Viewing real-time presence, status, and location of your contacts (subject to their privacy settings).
Using screenshare and voice communication features for collaboration.
Interacting with Maada, our AI-powered assistant, for productivity tasks.
Setting up and managing workspace locations for office detection.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to:
Harass, bully, or threaten other users or any individual.
Send spam or unsolicited communications through the App.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Stalk or monitor other users without their knowledge or consent, or use location features in a manner that violates another person's privacy or safety.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App or its underlying software.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, systems, networks, or other users' accounts.
Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Services using automated means without our prior written consent.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or the data contained therein.
Circumvent or disable any security features or access controls of the Services.
Share your account credentials with third parties or allow others to access your account.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Property
The Services, including the App, its design, features, code, algorithms, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property, are owned by Colligence Research Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or share through the Services (including messages, profile information, and photos). By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Services.
7. AI Assistant (Maada)
Maada is an AI-powered assistant integrated into the Services to help you with productivity tasks, contact queries, and communication management. Please note:
Maada's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date.
Maada's responses do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other form of expert advice.
You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on Maada's responses.
We do not guarantee the availability or performance of Maada at all times.
Conversations with Maada are stored to provide the service and improve your experience.
8. Communication Features
When using screenshare, voice communication, or other real-time collaboration features:
You must obtain the consent of all participants before initiating a screenshare or communication session.
You must not record, capture, or redistribute any screenshare or communication session without the explicit consent of all participants.
Audio and video streams are transmitted in real time and are not recorded or stored by Colligence.
You are responsible for ensuring that sensitive information visible during screenshare sessions is appropriately protected.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party infrastructure providers, including:
Supabase for database, authentication, and real-time data services.
Firebase (Google) for push notification delivery and crash reporting.
LiveKit for real-time screenshare and voice communication.
Your use of the Services is also subject to the terms and conditions of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or availability of third-party services.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
10.1 By Colligence
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if:
You violate any provision of these Terms.
Your use of the Services poses a risk to other users, our systems, or third parties.
We are required to do so by law or regulation.
Your account has been inactive for an extended period.
10.2 By You
You may delete your account at any time through the App (Settings > Privacy > Delete my account). Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLLIGENCE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COLLIGENCE, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Colligence, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Your use or misuse of the Services.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Content you submit, post, or share through the Services.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices page, constitute the entire agreement between you and Colligence regarding your use of the Services, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were most recently revised. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
